Raymond E. Scanlan

Managing Director, worked for Iridian Asset Management for eight years as a Managing Partner before rejoining John W. Bristol in 2025. Ray had previously served as a Managing Director at Bristol from 2004 to 2017. Prior to that, he held positions at Citigroup Asset Management, Marakon Associates, the European Community Commission, and McKinsey & Company. Ray is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and earned a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BAS in Computer Science from the Moore School of Engineering. He also received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Ray is responsible for business, communication & industrial services; chemicals; consumer staples; energy equipment & services; health care equipment & services; life sciences tools & services; semiconductors & software; and utilities.
